What an amazing public service offered by our Attorney General’s Office. Here’s the deal: EVERY adult should have an advance healthcare directives. When kids turn 18 and register to vote they should be filling these out as well. And why not? It is free and easy. And you have protected your loved ones from heartbreaking struggles if something happens to you.
The Attorney General’s website has general information about Arizona laws related to future incapacity and the importance of life care planning.
The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on the Life Care Planning page is excellent, including answering questions on how to fill out the documents, if a notary is needed, who can be witness and where to keep the documents.
